DRAFT Magazine gives Moose Drool Brown Ale its Highest Rating Ever!!
Draft is a highly respected national beer publication that rates several beers in each issue. In the September/October 2007 Issue, Draft rated Moose Drool and gave it an unprecedented 98 out of 100. That makes Moose Drool the highest rated beer in Draft's history! Here is the write-up that accompanied the rating. "This just might be the best brown ale brewed in the world today. Sure, the name is slightly revolting, but once you get past that, you are in for a treat. There is simply nothing like your first taste. This beer starts with hints of robust toffee and honey in the aromas, followed by notes of brown sugar and chocolate that blend perfectly in your mouth. Finishing this beer is a clean bitterness that leaves your tongue slightly dry, although it is never harsh. Somehow, Moose Drool presents new flavors with every sip, so be sure to savor every one, even if the well-balanced body makes it easy to down this beer quickly." As you might guess, we were very pleased with this review even if it did manage to include the word "revolting".

Montana Trout Slayer Ale Now Being Brewed By Big Sky Brewing Company!!
Early in August of 2007, Big Sky Brewing Company became the exclusive brewer of Montana Trout Slayer Ale! This beer has been a favorite of Montanans for several years now, and we are very happy to add it to our lineup and share it with beer lovers throughout our territory. Trout Slayer is a light crisp ale that is brewed with plenty of wheat to add to its refreshing qualities. Look for Trout Slayer wherever Big Sky Brewing Company beers are sold; and if you cannot find it, feel free to ask your retailer to bring it into his or her store, restaurant, or tavern.

Montana Mixer Now Available!
We began hand-packing mixed 12-packs of our beers in mid-January and the new "Montana Mixer" hit store shelves shortly afterwards. This package will usually contain three bottles each of four of our beers. Generally, in the summer the beers will include some mix of Moose Drool Brown Ale, Scape Goat Pale Ale, Big Sky IPA, Montana Trout Slayer Ale, and Summer Honey Seasonal Ale. In the winter, the first five beers remain the same and the Summer Honey is replaced by Powder Hound Winter Ale. This is a great package for folks who want to try all of our beers without purchasing a bunch of separate six-packs, and is an especially good choice for partygoers who wish to bring a variety of great beers to a special event. Just do not purchase too many of these, it is hard work to hand-pack all of those bottles and we do not like to work too hard!

Arizona, Here We Come!
We are excited to announce that Big Sky Brewing Company began selling our fine ales throughout Arizona in late 2006! If you live in or visit the area, keep your eyes open for Moose Drool Brown Ale in bars and restaurants in your area. We started out by shipping only Moose Drool and only kegs, but bottles of Moose Drool, Scape Goat, Summer Honey, and Big Sky IPA are now available in stores as well. Of course you are more than welcome to ask your favorite stores, taverns, and restaurants to carry our brews!

Big Sky IPA is Now Available in Bottles!
We have been brewing our IPA since we became a brewery back in 1995. After hearing visitors tell us how good it was for over a decade, we finally figured out that maybe we should bottle the darn stuff! Big Sky IPA is hoppy like an IPA should be, but we also brewed it with a strong malt backbone to support all those hops. It has been winning accolades and awards all over the place since we've begun bottling it. Give Big Sky IPA a try and you will find out what all the fuss is about.

Big Sky Brewing Company is currently selling its tasty brews across the entire Northwest and Northern Plains of the USA.. We have begun titillating taste buds in the Midwest and Southwest as well. Our beers are distributed in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Arizona, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. Big Sky Brewing's fine ales are on tap in thousands of restaurants and taverns throughout the region.
